La Casa del Camino The Hotel

90 years ago the hotel rooms used to be $3 a night!

I am a history nerd and I loved everything about exploring this hotel. Built in 1929, it is a historic landmark in the city of Laguna Beach, CA located right next to the Pacific Ocean. The “Spanish Room” and the “Lost Room” were two of my favorite rooms. If you’re ever in the area, definitely stop by and walk up the 3 flights of stairs to the RoofTop and the ocean views will not disappoint. Especially at sunset. There’s also a fancy Mediterraean inspired restaurant and bar on the first floor that is always packed whenever I’m there.
